Quality Inn

We had a totally great experience here. Don’t be scared off by the rough look of the exterior or inner hallways. Our room was nicely renovated, spacious, with all the amenities. Swimming pool, hot tub. Marble floors and tile counters and thicker towels and good pillows. The flat TV was giant and great cable package. The staff were so helpful and sweet, a friendly mix of locals and Indian owners. They are working round the clock to bring this former Holiday Inn back up to par with other nice motels, after years of neglect. The sweet Indian lady I spoke to upon leaving said that next time when we stay with them she will cook us an East Indian meal. We will definitely be back since we travel i40 often.

All and all it was a good stay. Our room was by the pool inside on the bottom floor and it was peaceful and quite, can see why some guest say it was creepy just because the lights and inside could use some updating. the lady that checked us in was super awesome and moved us immediately to a new room because the first room was small and had no TV because it looked like someone had stole it or it had been broken but nobody had ever replaced it. The room and bathroom was very clean smelled like a hint of stale smoke but didn't bother us. We have seen and stayed in far worse hotels. Didn't see any bugs or anything so that's a plus. Bed sheets and beds were in good shape. The only other down fall is that you have to let the hot water run for a minute or 2 because there is alot of Sulphur in the water so it will come out brownish at first but if you let the water run and don't immediately think something is wrong then it will go back crystal clear. I think if the hotel just had a little updating in a few spots it would be a 5 star rating hotel experience for every guest but it's hard to please everyone anyway. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

Rooms have been updated a little. It still isn't completely done, but it was clean, and the bed was definitely comfortable. The breakfast had a large room, and there is a good selection.

We decided to get the room inside near the pool. It was nice! There were like three other renters so quiet. Maintenance helped when needed fast, housekeeping service was great and helpful. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and the plants near pool were clean and beautiful! Safe location near highway. Thanks again from Detroit.

I was impartial about this place. It seems like they were remodeling or maybe just opening. There was no sign out front, so it was hard yo find. The lady at the counter was outside smoking when we walked in. She finished her cigarette and then came in to greet us. I'm a smoker, customers before cigarettes. The room wasn't bad but there were people just hanging around outside. It was odd. Once we figured out how to get to the pool, we were disappointed. It was obscenely hot in the pool area. The pool water was like bath water but the room had to be close to 90 degrees. The price i paid for the room wasn't bad. I can't be too upset over this. If I were to stay in this area again, i would probably check out one of the other hotels first before booking again.

Outside looks are deceiving. When we pulled in i was like what did i get myself into. Once in the hotel the pool area was very nice. Rooms are older, but still nice.. we sleep with the tv on our friends do not, so they said they heard people talking outside there room very early. But we did not. Staff could use refreshers on being more friendly. Not all of them but some. More updates and i think you would improve your ratings... I did however have issues with paying. We had two rooms paid cash for one. But my card was charged for both, and it took me 5 days to get my money back. Luckily i wasnt on a tight budget

Decent! Hotel was almost empty. Desk person was friendly, told us the facility was under renovation. Our room was clean, beds were comfy. The place was very quiet because there were only a few guests. The pools were closed, but they looked inviting. The free breakfast was good... standard make your own waffles, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, pastries. Within walking distance there's a Waffle House, Applebee's, Crackerbarrel.

We love this place. Its affordable and has an indoor heated pool and hot tub. They actually keep the pool heated, not just the pool room. Room is clean, staff is friendly. Plus they allow pets for only 15 a night. The owners have really put effort into making this place inviting. Real plants in the courtyard where the pool is. Our room has new carpet and paint. Awesome place for the money, not sure why anyone would leave a one star review. Not sure what these folks leaving negative reviews for.

I am basing my rating off the price and convenience. It was a very good price. So it raised my rating. The front desk staff were very friendly. The only complaints about the room was that the beds were a bit hard and the toilet was a little noisy. We did not sleep badly though, so I wasn't concerned about it. It had a little bit of a warn out feel to it, but was definitely clean. The only thing we had an issue with was breakfast. It was free, but the waffle maker didn't countdown and the juices were not available. The coffee was good and the fruits were fairly fresh so we're not too upset. All in all, I give it at least a 4 star because for the price, it was very good. I've stayed at much worse hotels that charged much more. So if you need a quick stop for the night cause you got stuck in the Smokeys, it's a good place to go. Didn't try the pool, but it looks nice.
